Repeat medication when the GP practice is closed
It has been agreed with the pharmacies in Amsterdam East that when the GP practice is closed (for example due to holidays) you can get your repeat medication without a prescription.
This concerns medication that you use chronically. You then will receive your chronic medication for the period of 1 month. The pharmacy will inform us of this later, so we can keep track of your medication use.
This agreement does NOT apply to: antibiotics, sleeping pills, tranquilizers and morphine preparations. These always require a prescription in advance; you can ask for a prescription at our observer who will assess your request.
